A further two people with COVID-19 have died in the Republic.
One death that had previously been classed as COVID-related has been denotified, so the total number of deaths here now stands at 1,652.
Sixty-six new cases of the virus have also been confirmed, bringing the total number of cases here to 24,990.
Data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has shown that of the 24,924 cases reported to it as of midnight on May 29, 3,283 have been hospitalised. Of these, 408 have been admitted to ICU.
Some 7,963 cases are associated with healthcare workers, which is almost 32% of all cases.
Almost 19% of all cases are aged 75 and older, while children under the age of 14 account for less than 2% of all cases.
Among those hospitalised with the virus, 37% are aged 75 and older, while just 1.1% are aged 14 and younger.
Earlier, the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, insisted that Ireland is making "real progress" after it was revealed that as of Saturday night, there were just 36 patients with confirmed COVID-19 in ICUs, compared to 160 last month.
Worldwide, there have now been over 6.2 million cases of COVID-19, and over 372,000 people have died as a result.
Phase 1 of the Government's Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business is now in place. For more information on this, click here.
