The Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) has announced the appointment of a new board of governors and a new CEO.
The new appointments follow the recent controversy over top-up payments and financial governance at the CRC, which led to the resignation of the previous CEO and the board of governors.
The new CRC CEO is Stephanie Manahan, who has worked in a number of health service posts and whose most recent post was Deputy Manager at Connolly Hospital in Dublin.
The new chair of the CRC board of governors is Kieran J Timmins, who is currently CEO and a founding member of SmartCentric Technologies International Ltd.
A report from the interim administrator of the CRC on financial and governance issues within the Clinic is due to be presented in the coming weeks.
