Minister treated for septicaemia

Minister of State at the Department of Health Kathleen Lynch's condition has been described as comfortable, after she was admitted to Cork University Hospital yesterday.
The Minister is suffering from blood poisoning, or septicaemia - she was previously treated in Cork for the condition last year.
Her condition has now stabilised and has been described as comfortable. Ms Lynch, who is Labour TD for Cork North Central, was taken ill while on a visit to Letterkenny Hospital yesterday and was airlifted to Cork.
