The number of HSE administrative staff earning more than €100,000 has grown in the past year.

The numbers increased from 121 to 129 during 2012, and it is expected the group will earn €15.7 million this year compared to €14.6 million last year, according to the Irish Independent.

The gross pay for all of the 129 staff includes basic pay,and extra payments for allowances, on-call, overtime and unsocial hours. The 129 include 13 HSE national directors

The number of admin staff earning between €150,000 and €200,000 increased by one to 11 during the course of 2012.
