The Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) will appear before the Dail Public Accounts Committee next Wednesday to explain itself in the ongoing controversy over top-up payments to senior staff.

The CRC will be probed on the rationale and funding for the top-up pay and the disbursement of money raised through its fundraising arm.

Meanwhile, the HSE is to question voluntary agencies not compliant with official pay policy in the coming weeks.
