13 more deaths from COVID, 738 new cases

Thirteen more deaths from COVID-19 have been confirmed, along with 738 new cases of the virus.
This brings the total number of deaths here to 4,313 and the total number of cases to 218,980.
Of the 13 deaths, 10 occurred this month, one occurred in January, one in October and one is still under investigation. The median age of those who died was 81, while the age range was 55-92.
Of the 738 new cases, 311 occurred in Dublin, 54 in Limerick, 36 in Cork, 34 in Offaly and 33 in Donegal.
As of 8am on Saturday, there were 550 patients with confirmed COVID-19 in hospital, 135 of whom were in ICU. There had been an additional 27 hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
As of February 24, a total of 391,355 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine had been administered - 254,948 first doses and 136,407 second doses.
