INMO calls for meeting of ED Taskforce amid rising trolley numbers
More than 3,335 patients have been admitted to hospital without a bed so far in September

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) has called for the Emergency Department Taskforce to meet urgently to discuss how the HSE plans to tackle the persistent overcrowding problem in Irish hospitals. This comes as more than 526 patients, including 7 children, have been admitted to hospital without a bed on Monday, September 11.
INMO General Secretary Phil Ní Sheaghdha said more than 3,335 patients have been admitted to hospital without a bed so far in September.
